Job Responsibilities

The position involves extensive communication with the NZ business, teams and our network, as well as customers, suppliers and vendors:


  • Effective and efficient running of the Operations Team & function.
  • Gross Profit optimization and leakage reduction/reviews
  • Vendor payments and invoice management
  • Monitor and communicate Operational & Financial KPIs and implement improvement plans where required
  • Lead and develop your direct reports (Team Leaders) for growth and succession
  • Support the team and Team Leader during leave/absence, cover across teams for business continuity.
  • Recruitment for Operations, including on-boarding.
  • Performance management, including goal setting across the team annually including annual performance reviews.
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) review and updates
  • General support to the Country Manager and wider business, with any function or task relating to the efficient running of the Operations & customer services team or wider business.
  • Lead and encourage collaboration and transparency across the teams, departments and overall business at all times.


Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • 2+ years minimum experience in a similar position
  • 2+ years minimum experience in the same or similar industry
  • Previous leadership and management experience, managing a large team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other system, platform and analytical tools
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Detail and results oriented
  • Strong ability to multitask and delegate
  • Comfort working with multiple groups within business
  • Ability to use prior experience to drive a high performing team
